By Tim Huether Cross state foes Cody-Kilgore and Bennett County squared off in Cody in girls high school basketball last week with the traveling Lady Warriors picking up a big 6124 victory.The Freshmen duo of Jadyn Standing Soldier and Madi Waln lead the offense with 15 and 12 points respectively.

Warriors play well but fall late to Falcons

By Tim Huether The back end of a boys and girls basketball doubleheader saw a good game between Bennett County and the Todd County Falcons Feb. 6, in Martin, with the Falcons earning the sweep on the night with the Todd County boys claiming a hard fought 61-51 victory.

Cody-Kilgore outlasts Bennett Co. in overtime, 68-62

By Tim Huether It took five periods to settle the score between Bennett County and Cody-Kilgore last Friday night in Cody as the two teams went to overtime in high school boys basketball play.

Warriors wrestle well at home tournament

Saturday was the 48th Annual Bennett County Wrestling Tournament here in Martin. It was great to be able to wrestle in front of our home crowd as they supported the boys to a team title and the girls to a third place finish.

Warriors bring home several champions

On Sunday, February 11, the Kansas City Chiefs weren’t the only champions of the day. The Bennett County Youth Wrestlers had a great day and brought home several champion titles from the Douglas AAU meet.Tots-Girls 41-47 Avery Toczek placed 1st and scored 20.0 team points.

Stanley Co. Buffs take down BC Warrior boys

By Tim Huether The Stanley County Buffs had their hands full early on with the Bennett County Warriors in high school boys basketball play Feb. 5, in Martin, but they would pull away as the game wore on and take home a 69-39 road win.
