Warriors sending 10 to state meet

The boys’ Region 4B wrestling tournament was held this past Saturday in Ft.Pierre. We took 9 kids (out of 14 possible weight classes) and came away with 8 state qualifiers and a third place finish in the team race! As a team, it’s the best we’ve wrestled all year.

Risse and Hunter place second at State

Bennett County sent seven middle school wrestlers to the state meet in Pierre on Sunday, February 18. Bree Risse and Kaia Hunter both fell one place short of the championship title but represented BC well and brought home silver medals.Session 1 Boys 85Wylie May’s place is unknown and has scored 0.

Warriors fall to Jones County Coyotes

Jones County improved to 12-7 in high school boys basketball play following a convincing 75-37 win in Murdo last Friday.The Warriors drop to 3-15 with the loss.The Warriors were hanging right with the Coyotes through the first quarter, led by the hot hand of freshman Shooter Frederick.

Lady Warriors bounced by second rated Crusaders

Second rated and undefeated Red Cloud (Mahpíya Lúta) took no time in displaying why they are one of the top teams in Class A of girls basketball racing to a 17-0 lead against Bennett County Friday night in Red Cloud.

Warriors boys defeated by Little Wound 56-37

The Bennett County Warriors boys basketball team played well early but faltered later in the game, coming in on the short end of a 56-37 score.Caysen Soderlin had a good game with a team high 17 points including 9 of the first 13 Warrior points.
