The South Dakota Dept. of Transportation is in the process of road maintenance projects in the area with a three mile chip and seal on Hwy 18 that started on Monday at Vetal, according to Brad Norrid, Engineering Supervisor out of Winner.

Bovine Trichomoniasis Found in Bennett County beef cattle herd

Bovine trichomoniasis (trich) has been detected in a South Dakota cattle herd. A bull from a beef cattle herd in Bennett County has tested positive for the disease.

Commissioners approve $300,000 opt out for Roads Only
