O’Neills flash their stuff at Howard Wood Dakota Relays

By Tim Huether Bennett County freshman Rush O’Neill out-jumped the competition in several states and classes to win the Howard Wood Dakota Relays track and field high jump competition Saturday in Sioux Falls. Rush’s leap of 6’ 5” earned him the title.

County to fully fund WIC program

By Tim Huether At the May 1, regular Bennett County Commissioners meeting, the board was informed that the WIC program in Bennett County, funded by both the county and the state, would no longer have funding assistance provided by the state.

Farewell to the Old School event shaping up to be one for the books

By Tim Huether With the new Bennett County Junior High School building construction moving along well, the next stage of the building project is to take down the old high school building currently home of students in grades six through eight as soon as school lets out for the summer.
