O’Neill shattered the Bennett County High School long jump record with a jump of 18’ 5.5”. The previous record of 17’ 7”, held by O’Neill’s aunt, Wendy O’Neill Adamson, was set in 1998. Photo by Jacob Waln “You have to love what you do” Julie Kaltenbach said about her work as a teacher. Mrs. Kaltenbach was awarded the outstanding middle level educator award at the SDAMLE conference this year. Julie has been teaching at Bennett County for 26 years, and has worn many hats through out her time teaching. If something is asked of her, Mrs. Kaltenbach will do it and give her best effort. That is what she has been doing in her 33 total years of teaching.
