Grass Fire torches 142 acres in Allen

By Chris DocterAt approximately 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, the Martin Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to a grass fire at Allen.Although the fire danger was low, the fire burned well and at times the flames reached 4-5 feet in length.
