Commissioners retract accepted county line road bid

By Tim Huether The Bennett County Commissioners moved to retract the accepted bid for the county line road project that was approved at the Jan. 3, 2024, commission meeting at a special meeting held Jan. 31.

February is National Heart Health Month

New building groundbreaking coming

By Tim Huether Things are in great shape at the Bennett County Hospital and Rural Health Clinic and looking to improve even more with the planned new facility project expected to break ground in March of this year.

Hospital CEO Christensen resigns

Bennett County Hospital CEO Michael Christensen has resigned from the facility, notifying the staff and board of his decision recently.“I have accepted a new role outside of South Dakota, and my last day with BCH will be Saturday, February 17, 2024,” said Christensen.
