Cross country runners from Bennett County High School participated in a pair of meets recently.
On Aug. 29, the team traveled to Winner for the Winner Invite.
Rosa Ainslie placed ninth in the womens varsity 5,000 meter run with a time of 28:35.70.
Kambri Claussen placed 10th in the 4,000 meters womens junior varsity division with a 24:18.60 time.
In mens junior varsity action, John Ainslie finished in 16th with a time of 21:28.30.
The runners participated in the Mile High Preview meet in Lead Sept. 2.
Rosa Ainslie brought home eighth place in the womens varsity 4,000 meters with a time of 21:31.05.
Kambri Claussen placed third in the womens junior varsity 3,000 meters with a 15:45.06.
In the mens junior varsity, John Ainslie placed 12th with a 15:31.34 time.
Next up for the runners is the Bennett County Invite on Sept. 12 with a 10 a.m. start time at the golf course in Martin.
