Bennett County would like to have the final three minutes back in their boys basketball game against Todd County. Prior to that, it was a close, well played game between the teams, with Todd County holding a 51-48 lead, but after that, it was all Todd County as they closed out the game on a 13-4 run for the 64-52 win.

Todd County took an early 4-0 lead before a field goal by Wade Porch and a free throw by Jacob Waln made it 4-3.
A pair of back to back steals and layups by Austin Prue put Todd County up 10-3, but the Warriors stepped up their defense and cleaned up their passing to close the gap to one at 10-9 with Waln, Porch and Will Schulz all scoring for the host Warriors.

The Falcons led after one quarter, 14-10, and scored the first points of the second quarter on an Austin Brave field goal, but Eli Livermont kept it close going to the hoop, scoring and drawing a foul for a three point play.

The Falcons Kellan Herman nailed a three pointer and Stenberg a two to extend their lead to eight at 21-13, but Bennett County went on a 7-0 run with Jon McDonnell providing five quick bench points and Jacob Waln scoring on a fast break to make it 21-20.

The Falcons finished the scoring for the second quarter with Brave scoring a field goal and Stenberg one free throw for a 24-20 lead at the half.

The Warriors tied the game at 29 early in the third on a three point shot by Livermont, but Prue answered with a three for the Falcons.

Ryan Richards, playing with four fouls, took charge on the offensive end for Bennett County, making a three to tie the game and later gave the Warriors the lead at 39-38 with his ninth straight point for Bennett County.

Austin Prue was also hot, scoring four points down the stretch of the third quarter to keep the Falcons on top, 42-41 at the buzzer.

In the final quarter, Dayre Evans put Bennett County on top 43-42 with a pair of free throws, but that would be their last lead as the Falcons went on top 44-43 with another Prue score, and never trailed again.

The game remained close until the three minute mark, when the Falcons defense forced several Warrior turnovers, leading to quick scores at the other end and Todd County finished the night with a 13-4 scoring run for the win.
