»Lady Warriors shoot down Coyotes

Warrior Volleyball traveled to Murdo for a chance at redemption Saturday, October 4 against the Murdo Lady Coyotes. The varsity team had lost to Jones County earlier this year at the Philip Tournament and was ready to make up for the loss.
The Junior Varsity won easily in two sets, and the Varsity won in three: 25-20, 25-22, 25-21.
Harriet Standing Soldier was 3/3 setting, 11/12 serving with 4 aces, 24/26 hitting with 12 kills, 9 digs and one assisted block. Kaitlyn Rayhill was 74/74 setting with 21 kill assists, 8/9 serving with two aces, 8/10 hitting with two kills, 6 digs and one assisted block. Laura Hodson was 23/23 setting with four kill assists, 8/8 serving 12/13 hitting with one kill, 4 digs and one assisted block. Shayla Allen had 9 digs. Noelle Risse was 3/3 serving, 16/22 hitting with 5 kills and had two assisted blocks. Megan Winter had two digs. Brooke Bair was 6/8 setting, 10/11 serving with one ace, 10/11 hitting with two kills and had 22 digs. Rebecca Vander May was 3/3 setting, 7/8 serving and had 4 digs. Taylor Kratovil was 23/23 hitting with 4 kills and had 4 assisted blocks. Tania Risse was 17/20 hitting with 3 kills, one dig and one solo block. Kalee Kratovil was 1/1 setting and had 2 digs. Roseanna Hammock was 1/1 setting, 2/2 serving and had two digs.
Thursday night is wear pink night for the match against Gordon-Rushville. There is a C tournament in Gordon this Saturday.
